Temple in the Desert--Buddhist monk, Thich Dang Phap takes care of the Buddhist Meditation Center in the high desert town of Adelanto. Behind him is the 24-foot, 80-ton Buddhist white marble statue of Quan 'Am which was first statue to be placed into position at the center.
